When We Are ClosedNHS111

Out-of-hours cover is now the responsibility of the NHS 111 service. ”Out of hours” means urgent calls outside of normal surgery hours, ie weekdays 18:30 to 08:00 the following morning and from 18:30 Friday to 08:00 Monday morning.

Please restrict out-of-hours calls to genuine urgent problems that cannot wait until the next working day. If you need to be seen by a doctor, this may be either at your own home or at the nearest Primary Care Centre.

For urgent medical advice or treatment telephone NHS 111 on 111. For general health advice only, please visit

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

There is also a Walk-in Clinic in Woking, please click on link to find out their opening times, address etc.
