Repeat prescriptions are printed by computer. If you are taking regular tablets or medicine, send or bring the tear-off slip on the right hand side of the computerised prescription to the surgery. Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you would like the prescription returned by post.
You may also request a repeat prescription online via the link at the top of this page; please ask for further details at reception as you need to register for this service.
The local pharmacies also provide a prescription collection service - please ask your local pharmacy for details.
Please note we do not take prescription requests over the telephone.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. If the medicine you are requesting is not on your repeat medications then the request may take longer to process.
