EPS (Electronic Prescription Service)

On 28th January 2016 the Mill Medical Practice went "Live" for the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) which allows prescriptions to be sent between the Practice and the Pharmacies electronically, saving time for both patients and pharmacies. It also saves paper!

If you are interested in signing up for EPS, please contact the pharmacy of your choice who can set themselves up as your "nominated pharmacy" so that your prescriptions go to them. You can also print out the Patient Nomination sheet here to fill in before handing it in to your pharmacy of choice (this will open a PDF document in a new window, if this is not compatible with your computer software, or if you prefer, there are hard-copies available at Reception and there should also be information readily available at many pharmacies.)

You will need to already regularly collect from your chosen pharmacy as it will be where all of your prescriptions go by default. You are free to remove your nominated pharmacy at any point should you choose to, simply contact the pharmacy or the Practice and you will be reverted back to paper prescriptions. 

You will still need to make requests for your medications when you are running low and please still allow 48 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. Any problems please telephone the surgery, if you have any questions about EPS either speak to the Practice or contact your pharmacy of choice.
